Returns Policy

At McRae and Soden, we want you to love your jewellery. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help — but please read our returns policy carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities.

Eligibility for Returns

You may return items within 14 days of receiving your order for a refund, provided the item is:

  • Unworn and in its original condition

  • In its original packaging, including any pouches or boxes

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (e.g. your order number or receipt)

Process:

  • Email info@mcraeandsoden.com for refund next steps
  • Customer must pay for Royal Mail 24 hour Tracked postage to return a no longer wanted item
  • Once received, refunds are processed within 14 working days, with exception of the delivery cost.
  • Returns of products sent after this date will not be accepted. 

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Please note: Earrings are non-returnable due to hygiene reasons, unless faulty.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Earrings (unless faulty)

  • Items returned outside the 14-day window

  • Items that show signs of wear, damage, or alteration

  • Items that have not been cared for in line with our care instructions (see Materials & Care page)

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged, you can request a return within 14 days of receipt, please email us at info@mcraeandsoden.com with your order number, description of the issue, and clear photos. We will assess the issue and may offer a replacement, a repair, or refund.

Return Process

To return an item:

  1. Email info@mcraeandsoden.com within 14 days of receipt, including your order number, reason for return and photos of damaged items.

  2. We’ll confirm return eligibility and provide return instructions.

  3. Package the item securely and post it using Royal Mail 24 hour Tracked Delivery to ensure safe delivery.

Please note: Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds will be processed within 14 working days back to your original payment method.
